Åhléns – No Limits

Take that, Kuldmuna.

The biggest advertising hit on the streets of Stockholm is definitely latest spring campaign of Åhléns (in strong competition with latest Klarna lobotomy-style campaign). In addition to announcing the latest spring trends, the campaign deals with concepts like age and style, starring style icons Sarah-Jane Adams (60), Michelle Elie (51), Angelo Gallamini (52) and Angela Molina (60). That’s not even remotely it. The mind power behind the campaign is more than awesome: my all time favourite Swedish agency Forsman & Bodenfors teams up with Acne for the campaign movie and LundLund photographers Andreas Öhlund, Maria Therese and stylist Columbine Smile for stunning outdoor ads. This all-star runway show will be closed by the first PhD of our Centre for Fashion Studies of Stockholm University Philip Warkander whose analysis on age and trends can be read here (in Swedish). And we cannot fail to mention that Happy Socks is one of the brands featured in this awesome campaign. No surprises at Guldägget, I assume.
